And so it begins

I don't think I've ever mentioned it before, but in addition to being a Nerd Extraordinaire, Ben is also a bit of a car buff. I'm certainly on the record as enjoying a nice looking car, but the incessant car chatter can get a bit tiresome, to the point where I've vaguely wondered when in life this kind of obsession begins.

Tonight, I found out the answer.

When I told Dash to go get a book for me to read to him, he ran off and came back with Ben's current copy of Top Gear magazine. And then he and Will (who was right there with him) kept pointing to pictures of cars and exclaiming, "Ooooh! Like!!!"

Naturally, the cars they were pointing to were things like the Bugatti Veyron, Lotus Elise and McLaren MP4-12C Spider, because my kids have champagne tastes.

I'm going to be listening to car talk for the rest of my life, aren't I?
