Will and Dash and Hamish and Lisa

This morning we got a couple of packages from my Dad and Awesome Stepmom Myra. The boxes were chock full of goodies like pirate pajamas...

...and fun foam tiles, which the boys promptly decided would make an excellent new reading seat.

There was also this little envelope for yours truly, which I set aside for a moment.

Until Will grabbed it and pulled this out:

For those not in the know, the Magic Castle is a private Hollywood club for the Academy of Magical Arts. My Dad has been a Castle member for years and I've been there quite a few times, so I couldn't figure out why on earth he'd sent me a napkin. And then I turned it over...

...and remembered the OTHER part of my Dad's involvement with the Castle, which is volunteering on the membership committee. A couple of months ago, he mentioned that Hamish Blake - one half of Hamish and Andy - was auditioning for membership and asked if I knew who he was. Since Hamish and Andy are probably the most famous comedy duo in Australia, I said of course I did.

How cool is that?!

Hamish Blake is totally my groupie.
