A friend asked me recently how I get good photos of our boys. So I swore her to secrecy, and then told her The Secret.
Are you ready?
I take lots of photos. LOTS of photos. LOOOOOOOOTS of them.
Because for every photo that looks like these...
...there are about a hundred that look like these:
Blurry and drunk!
Crying hysterically!
But sometimes even the "bad" photos turn out pretty good. Case in point - pictures where it looks like my little dudes are shaking their groove thangs? Not exactly traditional portraiture, but absolutely priceless:

ReplyDeleteI love those photos, especially the very last one. They are so beautiful!!
Hi, found you through SITS, and followed b/c I love the clever title of your blog and your "stayed for 8 years" blurb.
ReplyDeleteVERY funny girl...I'm yours now.
Oh they're all cute!
ReplyDeleteFrom SITS...
ReplyDeleteSO cute!
Stopping by from sits. I have twins too! B/G almost two... and a four yr old. I'll be back to see how you are doing. At least you have got the secret to photographing twins figured out. 10,000 pics a day. And another 10,000 for my big guy!

Stopping from SITS.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Most of my photos are blurs because my kids can't stay still. But there is always that one photo that ends up on my blog where the kids are in focus and smiling!
These are so adorable, I could totally hear the music they're grooving to. And yup, taking LOTS of pix is the answer to getting those treasured shots. Your 'bad' ones don't look so bad to me though!
