When I was a baby, my mother gave me a small stuffed Snoopy doll.
I loved that Snoopy doll.
I loved him until most of his hair was loved off, and his eyes dropped out and he got loose in the joints and very shabby.
And I loved him for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loved him, so he become Real.
Now my sons have my Snoopy. I hope he can be Real for them, too.
With thanks to Margery Williams.

Gosh darn it but they're cute! They are going to love that Snoopy too!
ReplyDeleteSnoopy is so cute! I know how you feel about it. I got a doll I'm very attached to even now :)
ReplyDeleteAnd your babies are adorable! Dropping by from SITS, and I'm following you.

dropping by from sits and beautiful photos of your kids and snoopy
ReplyDeleteDropping by from SITs to say thanks for the comment. How funny... my boys play with my Snoopy too. I was Snoopy obsessed as a kid. I think what's sweeter is that it's faithfully returned to my beside table every night. Where did you move from?
ReplyDelete@everyone - thank you!
ReplyDelete@Libby - I moved here from Southern California...just a little bit of a change lol!
A modern day velveteen rabbit story! Beautiful babies you have there. Good luck getting them to share snoopy! My boys are 4 and 5 and they still having caught on to that concept. :)
