Your good deed for the day

I've just finished the last of my current load of borrowed books, and I'm flailing a bit to find something new to read. Nothing is really grabbing my attention - which is I know is kind of sad considering I work in a library. I need inspiration!

So I'm putting it out there: anyone have any book recommendations? What's drawn you in lately?

If you want to check out some of my past favorite reads, click here.

6 shout-outs:

  1. I have recently read two books by Irene Nemirovsky (who has an interesting - but very sad - history)......

    Fire In The Blood
    Suite Francise

I have ordered her other works for the winter reading list.

  2. Have you read I Know This Much Is True? That's one of my favorites. I've also heard great things about The Art Of Racing In The Rain, but I haven't read it yet.

  5. Julie & Julia. Funny, poignant, silly. Better than the movie, but still pretty easy read. I enjoyed it. SITS sent me by, and I'm glad they did!

Shining Summer City on The Hill
