It's show time!

Yes I know the picture is so small that it makes the whole thing rather anticlimactic. It was the best I could find, m'kay?

I am unbelievably excited! I've been in Australia for nearly seven years but have never been to a Royal Show. I guess the best comparison is to a County Fair - the Show has livestock competitions (dairy goat judging!), equestrian events (novice hacks!), carnival rides (no idea what these might be!), and lots and lots of greasy and sugary food.

Most parents also buy their children overpriced showbags filled with candy and toys. Would it be wrong to pressure Ben into buying one for me, since this is a childhood ritual I missed out on? I think not.
